Base-plate option for low-ceiling workshops
The AM-6140E is Automaster’s base-plate two-post lift, rated to 4000kg. Its open-top design suits high-roof vans and vehicles fitted with roof-mounted ladder racks, and the base-plate format makes it a practical option for workshops where roof height won’t accommodate a clear-floor lift. It runs an automatically activated electric locking system, telescoping front and rear arms, double screw-up feet with 80mm 4×4 height extensions, rubber pads mounted to the carriage, and tool trays. Operation is a single button to raise the lift, a lock button to rest it onto the locks, and a down button to unlock and lower. Installation needs a minimum 150mm of concrete, or 100mm with optional base-plate extensions. It’s built with superior-quality balance cables, oil pumps, cylinders and electric motors engineered for reliable performance in demanding workshop use, and is supplied in dark blue with yellow, or dark grey with light grey, colour combinations.
Clear-floor flexibility in the 6246 range
The AM-6246 range is a clear-floor two-post lift rated to 4500kg, with reinforced double-S bend column design that can be positioned symmetrically for increased drive-through clearance or asymmetrically for wider door openings. Narrow or wide, and standard or low-height, configurations are available, and the motor is mounted high at the front of the post, out of the way and clear for installation close to walls. Three variants are available: the AM-6246R, with manual single-sided lock release and a remote control supplied to lift and lower the arms onto the locks — useful when positioning them under the vehicle; the AM-6246R-H, a high-roof version at 4162mm; and the AM-6246TD, which adds twin three-button control boxes — one on each post — for up, down and lock operation from either side of the lift, an electronically controlled safety lock, a three-button remote control and four U-adapter lift feet, with no timer delay on lowering. All 6246 models get three-stage telescoping front arms, two-stage rear arms, rubber column guards and tool trays, need a minimum 100mm of concrete for installation, and are supplied in dark blue with blue arms and yellow tool trays, or dark grey with light grey arms.
Higher capacity for commercial vehicles
For larger vans and commercial vehicles, the AM-6255R lifts up to 5500kg and is stocked in dark grey. It shares the double-S bend column design and high-mounted motor of the 6246 range, with three top-crossbar height settings — 5200mm, 5320mm and 5420mm — to suit available roof height. Three-stage telescoping front arms with arm extensions and double screw-up feet with 80mm and 155mm height extensions round out the specification, with the same quality balance cables, oil pumps, cylinders, and electric motors used across the range.
